Rex W. Huggins, Chairman and CEO, has served as Chairman of The Seibels Bruce Group, Inc. since 2007, and was appointed to CEO in June 2015. Rex is a seasoned business entrepreneur who owns and manages a number of family businesses in the southeast. As Chairman and CEO, Rex provides executive leadership for the company’s overall strategic direction and long-term goals, encouraging a “go all in” philosophy that empowers the industry professionals at Seibels to provide best in class services.

In addition to serving as Chairman and CEO, Rex is a member of the Board of Directors of New Holdings, Inc. and subsidiaries, including Gulfstream Property and Casualty Insurance Company.

Rex is a native of Florence, South Carolina. When he is not serving his businesses, he enjoys restoring classic cars and spending time with his wife and three children. Rex is also a loyal supporter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Seibels’ adopted charity.

As Chief Operations Officer, Ms. Brunson oversees daily operations, achieving profitable growth by ensuring the company’s ability to provide high-quality insurance services and leading technology to the property and casualty industry.

Ms. Brunson is an executive strategist with nearly thirty years of experience in the insurance and technology industries. She has an established history with Seibels and its affiliates, most recently serving as President and CEO of Seibels’ affiliate, Gulfstream Property and Casualty Insurance, a Florida-domiciled homeowners insurance company and business process services client of Seibels. Ms. Brunson remains Chairman of the Board of Gulfstream and additionally serves as CEO of Seibels’ wholly-owned subsidiary, Catawba Insurance Company.

Chief Financial Officer

Brad Gipson serves as CFO of Seibels, where he oversees the company’s accounting, auditing, finance, and treasury management activities. In this leadership position, Mr. Gipson is responsible for providing statutory financial reporting to various departments of insurance, as well as financial reporting to management, the Board of Directors, and shareholders.

Mr. Gipson is an accomplished insurance executive with over twenty years of experience serving in various financial roles. Prior to joining Seibels, Mr. Gipson was Chief Property Actuary at Gulfstream Property and Casualty Insurance, a Florida-domiciled homeowners’ insurance company and business process services (BPS) client of Seibels. Mr. Gipson also has experience working at Farmers Insurance and 20th Century Insurance Company.

Mr. Gipson graduated from Brigham Young University and holds a Master of Business Administration from Johnson School of Business at Cornell University.

Adrian Brown

Adrian E. Brown, Chief Risk Officer and Chief Information Officer, is responsible for coordinating enterprise risk management strategies for Seibels in the areas of disaster recovery, data retention, and corporate risk identification. As CRO and CIO, Mr. Brown focuses on improving the integrity of Seibels’ systems network, infrastructure, and ITO operations. Mr. Brown also directs all of the Company’s Information Technology activities, including software development, implementation services and support, data center operations and technology infrastructure.

Prior to joining Seibels, Mr. Brown served as a property and casualty insurance technology consultant after serving as CIO of Canal Insurance Company in Greenville, South Carolina. Mr. Brown earned his Master of Science in Information Technology from The George Washington University, and has thirty years of property and casualty experience in IT as well as a strong background in the financial industry.

Steve Harding

Senior Vice President, Policy and Claim Services

Steve Harding is responsible for the Company’s Business Process Outsourcing division. He has over 20 years experience directing underwriting and claims operations in the property and casualty field.

Harding joined Seibels in 1996 as policy processing manager for the South Carolina Reinsurance Facility servicing contract. He was promoted to Vice President of South Carolina Automobile Operations in 1998; Vice President, Underwriting, in 2000; and Vice President, Services, in 2001. In 2004, he was given responsibility for the Business Process Outsourcing activities of the company. His experiences include personal automobile, homeowners and dwelling fire, and commercial lines.

Prior to joining Seibels in August 1996, Steve spent over eight years with GEICO in personal lines claims, sales, and customer service. Steve’s current role as Vice President, Insurance Management Services, allows him to bring together the knowledge he has gained in the insurance industry to benefit Seibels and its customers.

Harding received a bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Finance from Florida Atlantic University.

Manny Robinson

As Vice President of IT Operations, Manny Robinson leads the daily operations of Seibels’ IT team, including customer support, people management, product development, professional services, and infrastructure services.

An accomplished visionary with a vast background in sales, operations, business development, and strategic planning, Manny brings over fifteen years of leadership and management experience to Seibels. Manny  was previously Director of Partner Sales, Partner Services and Business Development Manager for TSYS NetSpend Corporation & Skylight Financial in Austin, Texas. Prior to TSYS, Manny served as Director of Operations at First American Lender Solutions, as well as Project and Program Manager at Dell.

Manny is a graduate from the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado and received a M.A. in Sports Administration Management from the University of Northern Colorado. Manny served as the Executive Officer for the 668th Bomb Squadron combat ready B-52 unit in New York. In addition to playing professional baseball for the Greenville Bluesmen of the Texas-Louisiana League, Manny was the assistant baseball coach for the US Air Force Academy’s NCAA Division I team and an instructor of boxing, Judo, and unarmed combat for cadets.

Fiona Cantrell

As Vice President of Financial Services, Fiona Cantrell is responsible for overseeing the company’s financial services operations, including all direct bill, receivable accounting, and quality assurance activities for Seibels’ business process services (BPS) and third party administration (TPA) clients.

Fiona joined Seibels in 2013 as Director of BPO Financial Operations. She was promoted to Assistant Vice President of BPO Financial Operations in 2016. Prior to Seibels, Cantrell was Vice President of Financial Operations at CIT, a NYSE listed commercial lending firm. At CIT, she gained experience in the areas of financial operations, internal controls, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), business analysis, and system implementations. Prior to CIT, Fiona worked in public accounting and internal auditing for firms in New York City and Boston, MA.

Fiona graduated from The University of South Carolina with a major in Accounting. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants.

Vice President, Claims

Steven Hastings, Vice President of Claims, is responsible for overseeing Seibels’ end-to-end claims organization, which handles daily and catastrophe claims for clients. Mr. Hastings has over thirty-two years of experience working for commercial and personal lines carriers and third party administrators.

Mr. Hastings has an extensive claims background, strong management experience, and a proven track record for streamlining claims operations and reducing loss costs. Prior to joining Seibels, Mr. Hastings served as Sr. Vice President of Claims at Sedgwick in Orlando, where he was responsible for overall profit and loss for claims. Throughout the course of his extensive career, Mr. Hastings has also worked at Fireman’s Fund Insurance, Nationwide Insurance, and Aetna Life and Casualty.

Mr. Hastings received a B.S. in Business Administration/Management from SUNY at Oswego and holds a CPCU designation.

Assistant Vice President, Sales & Marketing

As Assistant Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Alyssa Rockwell promotes Seibels’ business process services in the property and casualty insurance marketplace. Alyssa is dedicated to building meaningful relationships, identifying top solutions, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Mrs. Rockwell is a results-driven sales leader with over twenty years of experience in sales and fifteen years of experience in insurance. Mrs. Rockwell was previously Regional Sales Operations Director at Nationwide Insurance, where she served as liaison between the company and over forty-five regional sales leaders. In this role, Mrs. Rockwell was responsible for P&C premium in excess of $2.7 billion and financial services premium in excess of $7 million annually via independent, exclusive, and direct distribution channels across seven southeastern states. Prior to this position, Mrs. Rockwell served as Territory Sales Manager at Nationwide and Primary Agent in Training at Nationwide, Kenneth Rhodes & Associates.

Mrs. Rockwell has achieved numerous accolades throughout her career and was recently recognized at Nationwide as a 2018 leader among peers and 2018 Nationwide Region of the Year. Mrs. Rockwell graduated from University of South Carolina and holds CIC and CRM designations.
