Amy Conley
Director of Underwriting Universal Insurance Company
Amy Conley, has over 20 years industry and agency experience. Conley is responsible for the product development, underwriting and customer service aspects of Catawba's commercial and personal lines of business.
Conley first joined Seibels Bruce in 1985 where she was promoted through a variety of functions including Procedures & Compliance, Actuarial, Project Management, Underwriting, Servicing Carrier Operations and Sales & Marketing.
Conley served on the South Carolina and North Carolina Reinsurance Facility Boards and was active with developing the 1999 South Carolina Automobile Reform Act. In 2001, Conley left Seibels to become the Recruiting and Development Manager for Affirmative Insurance Holdings. During her five-year tenure, the agency grew from $12 million in written premiums to $32 million.
Conley earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Wofford College. In addition Conley played basketball on Wofford's first female scholarship team. Conley returns to Seibels Bruce with a commitment to grow and enhance Universal's products, services and technical abilities.
David Pfeifer
Director of Marketing
As marketing director, David Pfeifer is responsible for generating new business for Seibels Bruce's insurance programs and managing existing customer relationships.
Pfeifer has over 18 years of experience in the insurance industry, specifically in marketing and sales of insurance and related products. His extensive knowledge of the insurance industry allows him to provide excellent service to Seibels Bruce's customers.
Before joining Seibels Bruce, Pfeifer served as account executive for Insurance Network Services, Inc. (INS), a full-service claim handling organization specializing in claim administration for all property and casualty lines. Prior to that role, he was a senior account executive for Computer Sciences Corporation (formerly MYND/Policy Management Systems Corporation) in its financial services group, where he was responsible for business development to new and existing clients. Pfeifer also served first as marketing manager and then as sales consultant for the property and casualty enterprise solutions division.

Andrew Banco
Product Manger, Personal Line - Homeonwers, Regulatory Analyst
As product manager, homeowners, Andy Banco is responsible for the development, growth and profitability of the homeowners and dwelling fire lines of business.
As regulatory analyst for Seibels Bruce, Banco develops and files rates, rules and forms for all commercial and personal lines with the departments of insurance. He also interprets, communicates and implements statutory and regulatory requirements for commercial and personal lines insurance and coordinates appropriate changes to processing systems.
Banco has over 30 years of line and staff underwriting experience in property and casualty insurance, having joined Seibels Bruce in 1972 after serving in the United States Air Force. He has managerial experience with the automobile reinsurance facility markets in North Carolina and South Carolina.
Banco earned a bachelor of arts degree from the University of South Carolina. He also holds a Certificate in General Insurance, Associate in Claims and is a designated Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter.
John Hallberg
Product Manager, Personal Lines – Automobile, Nonowners
John Hallberg, Nonowners personal automobile market manager, is a seasoned insurance professional with extensive experience in the North Carolina and South Carolina nonstandard auto marketplaces.
Prior to joining Seibels Bruce in 1991 as underwriting manager, Hallberg worked for six years as assistant manager of the South Carolina Reinsurance Facility. He also developed a managing general agency with Wausau Insurance Company and Academy Life Insurance Company, including training and managing eight agents located in North Carolina and South Carolina. Before beginning his insurance career, Hallberg served the United States military for two years as drill sergeant at Fort Jackson, South Carolina.
In addition to attending numerous insurance and management courses, Hallberg studied computer programming at Richland Technical College and pharmacology at the University of South Carolina. He is a member of the Board of Governors of the South Carolina Reinsurance Facility.
Danny Jordan
Product Manager, Commercial Lines
Danny Jordan, product manager, leads the commercial lines underwriting team and regulatory team.
Jordan has been an integral part of Seibels Bruce since 1986. He has 12 years of experience in commercial multi-line underwriting, 10 years of property and casualty marketing experience and one year of claims experience. In addition, Jordan has property and casualty agency experience.
Jordan received a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from the University of South Carolina, and he attended Hartford Insurance Personal Lines, Commercial Lines and Crawford Claims School.
Larry Lee, Territory Manager
Territory: Tennessee, Alabama
Larry Lee joined the sales team at Seibels Bruce in 1998, but his wealth of experience began as a claims adjuster in 1968. Larry moved into marketing in 1972, and began traveling as a marketing representative two years later. Promoted to marketing manager in 1982 and then to territorial manager for Alabama, Georgia and Tennessee, he is familiar with the insurance atmosphere in these states.

Carla Hurd, Account Executive
Territory: Kentucky & Eastern Tennessee
Carla Hurd comes to Seibels Bruce from Keystone-Sills Insurance Agency and is a licensed property and casualty agent. As Account Executive, Carla is responsible for generating new business for Seibels Bruce and managing the existing customer relationships for Kentucky. Carla has 24 years of experience and a vast knowledge of the insurance industry. She has worked in many capacities ranging from sales representative to commercial lines underwriter.

Laura Cornell, Account Executive
Territory: South Carolina
Laura Cornell joined The Seibels Bruce marketing team as an account executive in February of 2007. Laura is responsible for generating new business and managing the existing agency relations in the state of South Carolina. She comes to Seibels Bruce with 21 years of knowledge of the insurance industry. She has worked various capacities ranging from agent to sales representative. She is a licensed property and casualty agent with a bachelors degree in English with a minor in Mass Communications. 
Jim Harris, CPCU, CLU
Territory: Georgia
Jim Harris joined The Seibels Bruce marketing team as an account executive in January 2008. He is responsible for generating new business and managing the existing agency relations in the state of Georgia. Jim has 25 years of expericence in the insurance industry working in claims, underwriting, marketing and management.
Jim is originally from Raleigh, NC and attended the University of South Carolina. He is married with two children and enjoys golf, tennis and photography.
